About Us

Husband and wife team, Steve and Helen Rowell formed the company of Silverland in October 2001 and, soon after, they opened their successful retail outlet in Haworth, West Yorkshire. The shop at 74, Main Street is open 7 days a week throughout the year and normal opening hours are 10.30 - 5.30.

In August 2007, they opened Passion - next door at number 76. There, they not only have a wide range of fashion jewellery, but they also sell handbags, scarves, accessories and a wide range of gifts. There is also a Passion for Men section which has silk ties, cufflinks, tie-pins and jewellery for men along with gift ideas too.

Their extensive range of jewellery and accessories in both shops are hand-picked by Steve and Helen from around the world. Because of this, they have formed close working relationships with many of their suppliers, giving them great confidence in the products that they sell. A varied selection of Silverland's jewellery is now available on this website and it includes freshwater pearl, gemstone, crystal, bead and shell. We have also included a small selection from Passion too.

Helen's daughter Karen has worked for Silverland since 2004 and is actively involved with this website as well as now also managing Passion.
